Our Philosophy - Setting Trends, Not Following Them
The two-family locally owned business located in Solon, Ohio has built over 600 homes throughout the Chagrin Valley area. Dinallo and Wittrup Homes has long been a trend-setter, pioneering subdivision construction and implementing a "green" building approach before it gained popularity. With new, custom-built homes and renovation and remodeling projects that are not only structurally sound but pleasing to the eye, Dinallo and Wittrup have become the area's go-to builder, known for quality, design and most importantly, customer satisfaction.
A large number of repeat and referral clientele has benefited from the expert eyes of Rick and Neil, the dedication of skilled craftsmen and the company's basic philosophy of taking time to learn what owners want and need in their homes – from room sizes and shapes to the smallest details. That same attention to detail is also provided on home renovation and remodeling projects that enhance your current home while adding to its value.

Our Team - Pioneers and Visionaries
Neil Wittrup and Rick Dinallo founded Dinallo and Wittrup Homes in the late 1970's. Neil has been a master carpenter since the 1960's. He began his career as a carpenter and supervisor for one Cleveland's largest builders, working on some of the largest homes built in the Chagrin Valley. Rick began his construction career at the age of 18, operating a home remodeling company after working with family members throughout high school. This combination of actual hands on job experience of Neil and Rick has lead Dinallo & Wittrup homes to become the outstanding custom home building company operating since 1979. Together they have built more than 600 homes in their careers. Dinallo and Wittrup began building energy-efficient homes in the 1980's, utilizing upgraded windows, geothermal systems and heightened insulation. In his community, he founded BIPWI, a non-profit that helped fund scholarships and tutoring for a local school district. The rest of their hands on team consists of Toni Wittrup, John Wittrup, and Marty Barrish. Toni is the Office Manager and Customer Service Representative has over 25 years of experience. John is also a master carpenter, he has over 20 years of experience and plays a critical role throughout the entire building process. Marty Barrish is the Field Supervisor handling daily operations with 40 years of service.
